What is CIMA?

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is a leading membership body that offers a globally recognised professional management accounting qualification. With an emphasis on accounting for business, CIMA's reputation is continually growing. Founded in 1919, CIMA currently has more than 183,000 members and students worldwide and is the fastest growing accountancy body.

What is CMGA route?

It is evident that MBA holders who can actually demonstrate the higher level of professionalism to employers will have a strong advantage in the job market. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants offers those with an MBA qualification the opportunity to ensure their future success with the CIMA Masters Gateway Assessment (CMGA).

MBA holders are required to pass just one exam (CMGA) to achieve a prestigious qualification, the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, entitling them to the professional letters CIMA Ad Dip MA. They can then progress to the final level of CIMA professional exams and (once they have passed, and professional experience requirements have been met) they become full members of the professional institute.
