logo ISETThe International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET) accepts applications for its highly-prestigious Master's Degree Program in Economics. Azerbaijani applicants are offered:

Future Leader Scholarships up to USD 500 per month for outstanding candidates,

100% scholarships covering the full cost of tuition and living stipends up to $150 for all candidates meeting the minimum academic requirements (B- GPA).

Free housing for the entire duration of studies in Tbilisi,

Possibility of internships and/or semester abroad in Europe,

Summer internships/job placement in Azerbaijan.

ISET's curriculum mirrors the best programs in the US and Western Europe, and is taught all in English by international professors. Students entering ISET in 2012 can choose to participate in Applied Concentrations, such as energy and agricultural economics, and are given the flexibility to design an individual study plan preparing them for professional careers in public policy, banking and financial analysis. Interested graduates are offered assistance with placement in top PhD programs in the US and Western Europe.

Applications for admission in fall 2012 are accepted online (www.iset.ge) until 3pm, April 30. Admission exams in English and mathematics will be conducted in Baku in early May.

Applicants are encouraged to apply early, in order to be eligible for free counseling by ISET faculty and the possibility to take part in preparatory courses in English and Mathematics.

Established in 2006, ISET is sponsored by a consortium of prominent international donors, including BP, the CERGE-EI Foundation, the Government of Georgia, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Open Society Foundation, Swedish International Cooperation Agency US Agency for International Development, and the World Bank. It is the only institution in the South Caucasus offering an international-caliber Master's Program in Economics. From a total of 98 ISET graduates, 97% are currently employed or studying abroad. ISETers hold leading analytical positions in the National Banks and ministries in all three South Caucasus countries and studying in PhD programs at Stanford University, University of Chicago, and University of Pennsylvania, among others.
