Job Title: Intern (unpaid)

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Start date: 1 March 2012

Duration: at least three months

The International Center for Not-For-Profit Law (ICNL) is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes an enabling legal environment for civil society, freedom of association, and public participation around the world.

Specific Tasks

Intern shall:

• Assist with research and preparation of reports on municipal and non-commercial legislation of Azerbaijan;

• Assist in developing and administering ICNL's training programs for NGOs, lawyers, and government officials;

• Assist in developing ICNL publications;

• Perform other duties as requested by the Country Director.

Qualifications

• University degree in law or international law (4th year law students may also apply);

• Knowledge of non-commercial and municipal legislation of Azerbaijan;

• Research skills;

• Advanced computer skills in standard MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, etc);

• Written and verbal fluency in English and Azerbaijani.
