Call for Concept Papers
The Office in Baku of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is pleased to announce the 4th Call for Concept Papers under Civic Action for Security and Environment (CASE) Programme. CASE Programme provides funding to the civil society projects that address one of the following environment and security topics: sustainable management of natural resources; combating land degradation; natural and man-made disasters; management of hazardous wastes and chemicals; mining; sustainable transportation; climate change; and energy.
Conflict Pool Bid for 2012
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is now inviting detailed bids for project funding from the Conflict Pool for projects in the Caucasus and Central Asia from 1 April 2012.
The Caucasus and Central Asia Conflict Pool aims to reduce the potential for violent conflict in the South Caucasus, North Caucasus and Central Asia regions by investing in upstream conflict prevention. Projects can be targeted at the civil society, local government or national government level and can be local, national or regional in scope.
Nieman Fellowship program
Nieman Fellowship program was started in early 1938 with a generous gift of $1 million to Harvard University by Agnes Wahl Nieman. The main objective for starting the fellowship program was to elevate the quality and standard of journalism and educate persons deemed especially qualified for journalism. The Nieman Foundation is currently inviting applications for the Global Health Reporting Fellowships Program. These fellowships are awarded each year to two journalists committed to global health reporting.
Democracy Commission Small Grants Program
WINTER 2012 CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Embassy of the United States of America in Azerbaijan is pleased to announce the 2012 winter round of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program. This program seeks to support the development of Azerbaijan's democratic institutions and civil society by awarding competitive small project grants.
The grants may not exceed $24,000 and are only open to Azerbaijani nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), nonprofit community-based organizations (CBOs) and other nonprofit associations and community groups, as well as independent local media organizations. Applications must be submitted by January 15, 2012.

The Socio Economic Development Activity (SEDA) invites qualified Azerbaijani companies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to submit a proposal to conduct a survey of public perception on community participation in socio-economic development in Aran, Guba-Khachmaz, and in a third region to be decided later.
Proposals invited for the Next Funding Cycle by the National Endowment for Democracy
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is a private, nonprofit foundation dedicated to the growth and strengthening of democratic institutions around the world.
Each year, NED makes more than 1,000 grants to support the projects of non-governmental groups abroad who are working for democratic goals in more than 90 countries. Since its founding in 1983, the Endowment has remained on the leading edge of democratic struggles everywhere, while evolving into a multifaceted institution that is a hub of activity, resources and intellectual exchange for activists, practitioners and scholars of democracy the world over.

Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti yanında Qeyri-Hökumət Təşkilatlarına Dövlət Dəstəyi Şurası (bundan sonra "Şura" adlanacaq) müsabiqədə iştirak etmək üçün QHT-ləri ərizə təqdim etməyə dəvət edir. Şura ilk növbədə "Azərbaycan Respublikasının qeyri-hökumət təşkilatlarına dövlət dəstəyi Konsepsiyası"na uyğun olaraq, aşağıdakı mövzular üzrə layihələrə üstünlük verəcəkdir:

Deadline: 29 February 2012 Open to: Grassroots initiatives, Community-based organization (CBO), Faith-based organization (FBO),Small non-governmental organization (NGO), Organization of people living with HIV and key population. Grant: US$10,000 for ten organizations.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Grant
Deadline: 25 January 2012 Open to: Applicant organizations must be individual non‐profit organizations, for‐profit companies or other recognized institutions that can successfully execute the activities in their technical area. Grant: Up to $2,000,000 per project.
